“LINCOLN LIBRARY OPENS BUSINESS RESOURCE CENTER”

The recently created Business Resource Center at Lincoln Township Library will be introduced to the public at a Grand Opening on May 16th from 6:45 p.m. to 8:30 at 2099 West John Beers Road, Stevensville.  

A presentation on the Library’s new services and resources will include members of partner organizations describing services they offer and how they work with the Library to meet community business and job-related needs.

Three local business owners – Rich Daniels of RNS Packaging, Mary Dawn Taggert of Mad Dog 5/1 Fitness Center and Mike and Lorry Johnson of Dee-Blast -- will discuss support they received, how business ownership changed their lives, issues they didn’t anticipate and the best things about being an entrepreneur.

The following question and answer session will include those presenters and representatives from MISBTDC (Michigan Small Business & Technology Development Center), Michigan Works, the Women’s Business Resource at Cornerstone Alliance and the local SCORE organization.

Local business owners as well as anyone considering starting a business or purchasing a business are encouraged to attend to see how experienced support can help them build business success.  Registration is not required.
